Full Description

5:00 AM, we pick you up from the lobby of your hotel and drive to Preah Vihear temple via Anlong Veng.

After about a 2-hour drive, we will stop at Anlong Veng for breakfast at a local restaurant. It's time to wake you up with Cambodian Coffee and experience a local breakfast. Anlong Veng was the last stronghold for the ousted Khmer Rouge after they lost the battle to Vietnam in 1979, and they existed there till 1999, one year after Pol Pot died there.

Continue to Preah Vihear, drive up the hill by a 4-wheel drive car, then visit the UNESCO World Heritage site temple on the top of the mountain where the temple is situated, admire its beautiful carving and bas – relief as well and you can view the landscape of Cambodia and Thailand.

After Preah Vihear, we take another 2-hour drive to Koh Ker. Upon arrival, enjoy freshly-cooked Cambodian lunch at a local restaurant. Koh Ker is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Prasat Tom, the largest Pyramid temple in Cambodia and the main temple of the Koh Ker group. Koh Ker Temples, which were built during the reign of King Jayavarman IV (928-941), served as the Capital of the Khmer Empire in the 10th Century. Drive around the complex, visit Prasat Pram and Prasat Ling, which are some of the charms of the Koh Ker group.

After Koh Ker, we drive back to Siem Reap and stop at Beng Mealea, which is one of the mysterious temples of Angkor. Visit this sprawling jungle temple, covering over one square kilometer is largely overrun by vegetation.

At the end of the day, we will get back to Siem Reap and we will drop you off at your hotel around 6 pm.
