DAY 1: SIEM REAP – BATTAMBANG

8:00am, you will be picked up from your hotel by an English speaking driver with private car and transfer to Battambang (3 and half hour drive).

Check in the centrally located hotel.

2:00PM, meet up your English speaking guide in Battambang for the guided tour for the city orientation for the governor residence, Elephant Pagoda and Psar Nat (central market). Continue to the striking hilltop temples of Phnom Sampeau & Phnom Banan, this massive limestone out crop is dissected by a number of caves some more accessible than others, with some containing unexpected reminders of Cambodia’s history. Enjoy the Bamboo train ride at Phnom Bannan and in the evening, watch bats coming out from the cave for their night food hunting at Phnom Sampeau.

DAY 2: BATTAMBANG – SIEM REAP

Breakfast at the hotel

In the morning, take the half day tour to the countryside of Battambang to learn from local families about how they make traditional products such as rice noodle, rice paper, dried banana, bamboo sticky rice, fish paste and rice wine. Taste and experience the pleasures of these products fresh off the fire. Spend some relaxing time in a traditional Khmer house enjoying seasonal fruits and coconut water.

Noon, check out and lunch break around town.

In the afternoon, transfer back to Siem Reap by English speaking driver with private car.

Upon arrival Siem Reap, check in the hotel.
