DAY 2: ROYAL PALCE – TUOL SLENG – CHEUNG EK

8:00AM, you will be picked from your hotel for a day sightseeing in Phnom Penh to visit the most highlights of Phnom Penh including Royal Palace, compound build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom, is the most conspicuous feature and also one of impressive colorful Khmer-style Palaces. Silver Pagoda (The Emerald Buddha temple), displays plenty of Buddha Statues that were decorated and made by diamond, emerald, gold and silver. Continue to visit the notorious genocide Tuol Sleng Museum. The museum displays include room after room of these photographs of men, women and children covering the walls from floor to ceiling; virtually all the people tortured were later killed. After lunch break on spot, continue to the Killing Field of Cheng Ek, the site where Khmer Rouge soldiers killed the innocents after imprisoning and torturing in Tuol Sleng. The visit to these sites provides us a deep insight into the painful bloody rule of the Khmer Rouge.

In the late afternoon, enjoy the sunset cruise along Tonle Sap River in front of Royal Palace and navigate through Mekong River. This cruise tour is the best way for you the see the fast growing of Phnom Penh and also the life of fishermen living in their boats on the other side of Phnom Penh.

Transfer back to the hotel, and overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 2: KOH DACH – WAT PHNOM – INDEPENDENCE MONUMENT – RUSSIAN MARKET

In the morning, pick up from your hotel by your guide and enjoy the tour by Remork (Tuk Tuk) to Koh Dach which is known as Silk Island. Crossing Tonle Sap River by Chroy Changva Bridge then drive to boat pier where you cross to Koh Dach. Have a nice walk to visit the village of traditional handicraft production of silk dyeing & weaving, observe the activities of their daily life, visit pagoda and agriculture farm along the river to enjoy the scenery of green vegetation and fishing village. Return back to Phnom Penh by Remork to visit Wat Phnom (Phnom Doun Penh), a pagoda founded in 1373 for the Buddha statues and later give its name to the capital Phnom Penh.  After lunch break, visit to the Independence Monument, which was constructed in 1954 after Cambodian, took their country back from French colony and the Memorial Statue of the Late King Sihanouk. Continue Russian Market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong), a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs.
