Full Description

DAY 1: ROLUOS GROUP / ANGKOR THOM / BAYON

8:00AM, you will be picked up from your hotel to visit the Roluos group of temples including the 3 monuments, which was the former capital “Hari-Hara” dating in 9century. Start with Preah Ko, Hindu temple, dedicated to king’s ancestors. Continue to Bakhong, which is the largest and the most interesting of the Roluos group temples with its active Buddhist monastery. Continue to Lolei, the four brick towers situated in the center of the ancient reservoir.

Noon, lunch break (there are many local restaurants are available around the temples with local and Asian Foods, your guide would be happy to recommend you a good one. Or you might want to go back to town or hotel for break)

In the afternoon, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom and move to the Elephant Terrace & the terrace of Leper King, the enclosure of royal palace, Phimean Akas, Baphuon and the impressive Bayon temple.

DAY 2: TA PROHM / TA NEI / ANGKOR WAT / PREAH KHAN

8:00am, pick up from your hotel to visit a jungle temple, Ta Prohm, which is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees, it is well-known as Tomb Raider II movie filmed inside. Continue to Tanei, another temple in the jungle and it’s inaccessible by car where we can trek and spend around half an hour for this treasure in the forest (it’s very peaceful). Walk along the west gate along the forest till reach the east entrance of Ta Keo temple and enjoy the view from the top. Continue to Preah Khan, the ancient Buddhist University.

In the afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, the most incredible temple and the largest religious site in the world.

DAY 3: BANTEAY SREI / KBAL SPEAN / BANTEAY SAMRE

8:00am, pick up from your hotel and visit Banteay Srei, the exquisite ‘Women’s Citadel’. Continue to Kbal Spean, trekking up the hill of Kbal Spean to see natural resources, waterfall, and 11th century carving of Hindu deities on the river bed. Noon: Lunch on spot on your own account.

On the way, you will visit the daily life of farmers who produce sugar palm and visit Banteay Samre temple.

DAY 4: BENG MEALEA / KAMPONG KHLEANG FISHING COMMUNITY

8:00am, one-hour drive to Beng Melea temple, one of the mysterious temples of Angkor. The sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer is largely overrun by vegetation.

Continue to visit Kampong Khleang, the largest fishing community on the great lake Tonlé Sap, for visiting the stilt houses, the fishing method, smoked fish production, floating village You will be dropped off at your hotel at the end of the tour.
